When To Moderate Comments

Jim Brady, executive editor of the WashingtonPost.com, today made an excellent case for not moderating comments before they go live on your site. Speaking at the Media & Money Conference, which I'm attending for Jack Myers Media Business Report, he said it's both a legal and business issue, that letting the comments go up first decreases your liability and increases your users' engagement.
